Hello,

I have a Playstation 3 slim which doesnt read disks. Ive opened the ps3 and tested the drive. Im not sure the drive is supposed to spin like this... so i can replace the laser but im not sure that will solve the problem.

What do you guys think?

I am not so familiar with slims, but I think you must have faulty drive at a whole. I would suggest change the drive with new one and just swap daughter boards.
