I know lite-on drive need a probe kit to flash in the larger 360s, what about the slims? I hope I can just flash it via SATA like my old BENQ...

At this time it looks like you can flash via SATA on the 9504, but the 0225 will need additional hardware such as the xbo360USBPRO based on some mods posting I saw at TEAM XECUTER forums.

There's nothing required to flash the Slim drive at all. Slimkey requires the X360USB Pro.

In Jungleflasher, just hit the Slim Unlock button to send the drive in Vendor Mode. From there, read the firmware, save it, autload LT+, send Slim Unlock again and write the firmware.

It's all explained in the new version of the tutorial.
