Hey all, I just hooked my Xbox up to an HD display for the first time using the official High Definition AV Pack. I configured my box for widescreen, 720p, and 1080i, and my monitor says it's getting a 1080i signal, but the picture looks terrible. Any ideas?

Heh, I'm kind of having the same problem as you...

The lines aren't quite that visible on my TV, but they have been in the past. I've been trying to squash this problem for quite a while with no success.

Yeah, I saw your thread smile.gif

My cheap chinese component cable works perfectly, though. My official breakout box is the one with problems, but I need that for digital audio to my receiver.

Yea. That does kinda look like poo. Try disabling 1080i in the MSdash and your main dash to force 720p. The picture may improve.

My AV pack was bad. I got a new one off ebay and all is well.
