Softmod To Tsop Help, Noob to tsop flashing Options

Hi all the other day I softmodded my Xbox and installed xbmc then I decided it was time to tsop flash it i soldered the points, put xbmc on the c drive and tried to flash it with slayers nothing just sat there saying erasing for 3 hours so i went in search of something else but by now i think Iv tried just about everything heres a list of what I'v tried

splinter cell evox raincoat game save=cant telnet to it

eurasia flash disc = discovered you need a hacked bois to boot and black screen

aid = wont boot might be the dvd im using

splinter cell evox with custom .ini = same as slayers

I dont know what else to try so any help would be appreciated

Oh yea the xbox is 1.4 and the tsop is winbon and the softmod was installed with ndura

Use a disc called HeXen it can flash 1.4 winbond xbox's i have used it twice on two of my xbox's and it has worked out fine so do a google search for HeXEn (Heimdall's Xbox Engineering Disc) and here is a list of what it can do

then once you have it burn it to a disc 4x speed then put it in your xbox it may take 40sec+ to boot so don't freak out and think its not reading it then go to TSOP Flashed / Chipped Xbox Tools
then Winbond Flash then choose a bio that you want your xbox to have for me i always choose X2.4981.06 (F only) as it boots the xbox up faster then the other bios but its up to you then it will say that you have 5secs to flash the bios as it launches GENTOOLX so push right to advance then flash bios then HDD then there should be a file called bios.bin then push A on that then done.hope i helped

not true, eurasia can boot under any softmod or gamesave exploit (and the black screen is normal)

you can also try a splinter cell eurasia gamesave

HeXen also uses eurasia for winbond flashing

But HeXen is much more user friendly to use to flash Bios.

Ok thanks guys for the help. i burnt HeXEn and ran it,went to flash winbon it booted to the linux but i cant get to the advanced setting i have tried numerous times is there some special trick to do this.

You need a Genuine MS controller, and you have to be quite quick - you only get a few seconds.

Hmm bummer both my controller are 3rd party

Use Eurasia.

Recheck your solder points! Ive used Eurasia with my Xbox 1.4 (Winbond TSOP) and it worked like a charm.

Use quality DVD-R ´s for the Eurasia Flash Disc and the Bios Disc! Most drives dont like CD-RW

Your solder points are fine. I would bet it is probably your media type.

Yea i re soldered the point just to be sure but the CDs are verbatim and so are the DVDs would it make a difference if the console is pal and not ntsc maybe i need to switch it to get eurasia to work or dose any one know of a program that can be loaded off the HD. Thanks for the help so far

My Xbox is Pal too, cause im from Germany. Ive used for the Eurasia Flashdisk a DVD-R and for the Biosdisk also a DVD-r. Remember to change you bios name on the Bios disc to "bios.bin" (Case sensitive)

And you say that you resoldert the "Point", remember that you need to solder 2 Points.
