Fsd And Dash Launch Screwed Up My Falcon. Need Help., How to properly install fsd and dashlaunch to get fad to appear on boo

X-S Enthusiast Group: Members Posts: 8 Joined: 2-May 11 Member No.: 453142	Okay, I screwed up my falcon jtag only about 30 days after I got it. Using FSD 2.0 rc 2.1 and dash launch 2.21. I hate starting FSD from XEX MENU because it's a dash board. It's meant to be what you see after the boot up, and it's annoying having to start XEX menu all the time just to go into freestyle dash. Now, my jtag has a 60 day warrenty so I'm good. I'm going to return it and buy a Jasper . I'll probably be annoyed every time I start up my xbox if I don't have freestyle installed with dashlaunch, but I REALLY don't want to f**k up my Jasper. I've looked around for proper tuts on how to set up FSD with dash launch, but they are all for 12611 and I need one for 12625. The tuts that are for 12625 are missing photos and stuff. Do you guys know were I could find tut worth reading. Hell, id hire someone near Chicago who knows more about this stuff to do it for me. I'm only 15. So how can I get my 360 FSD with dashlaunch installed, and make sure my new 360 won't freeze at boot or anything? I don't trust myself too much with this, and I'm sure this guy (who sold me my Jtag 360) will be beyond pissed if I screw up another one. So what should I do, and how do I do it?

OFF TOPIC JP did you possibly play T.H.U.G. ?

LOL, I don't even know what that is. on topic, I have feeling what you did was try to install the latest dashlaunch (xex only) but you put it in a folder on your JTAG with old dashlaunch files in it. This ill cause the installer to install old patchs and will cause the console to freeze up. Reflash your nand and install dashlaunch properly

I'm at school (hiding my phone in the bathroom lol) I'll be home at 4:00PM central time

That's what I did. I don't have a power canble with me, my xbOx didn't even com with an HDD! Luckily I still have an HDD but not a power cable . I still going to get the Jasper though. This time I can't screw up. No matter what. I will send my falcon back sometime this week, but I'll probably get some time before, and with that said, how do I flash my NAND? Btw, Thanks man, helped alot!

How ironic, if I open my xbox, I loose the warranty to trade it in for my Jasper cause the guy who sold it to me has one of those stickers hidden behind the face plate. I think when I send my falcon back I'll leave a note explaining the problem, thanks, and once again, does anyone know where I can find a reliable tut on 12625 dash launch and FSD 2.0 RC 2.1??
