So, I just went and picked up a new xbox. Popped her open, and much to my suprise, staring me in the face is a shiny new Liteon DG-16D4S with a firmware revision of 0401 ohmy.gif Manufacturer date is March 2011
I've been looking around and no one else seems to have found them yet.
For the reference it's one of those 4gb internal memory slim models.

You tried reading this with JF? I've heard the label isnt always correct, some drives labeled 9504 have 0225 fw!

I haven't yet, (didn't wanna reboot and pull all my drives off yet), but I'm guessing it's still accurate, mostly judging from the new matte black finish on this xbox and the fact that it's got a manufacturer date of march 2011. I will do it sometime soon though

EDIT: So, Hooked up jungleflasher, to see what it would do, and nothin
plain nothin.
Shows up in bios (even as a boot option although i havnt actually tried booting from it) but jungleflasher reports nothing in any of my ports, just the main os drive. I've even used this machine to do my hitachi earlier and it worked fine, so maybe this is another mode-b kinda setup on this drive.
