Ok i have a Xenon Jtagable here that read the nand perfect the first 3 times. Then i wrote xell got the cpu key and created a Freeboot then wrote it to the xbox. I forgot to unplug it for 30 seconds (Stupid yes) and i started it up and the ROL lights up then the ROL turns off but the xbox stays running. I re-read the nand and i got 5 block errors twice. Is this 360 bricked or will it live. If not whatever its only a xenon i got for $20. Any help would be great.

Flash one of your original nand dumps back to the nand and make sure it works stock. If it does then start over.

Ya i just tried that before you posted and it works, so re-read the nand and make sure its good and i dont need to boot to xell since i have the cpu key and just create a freeboot image and write it and make sure to wait 30 seconds correct?

What app did you use to build your freeboot image? Try best pigs freeBOOT_ToolBox_Maker27c.exe. Alway's work's for me or use fbbuild .20 to create your freeboot image manually.

The most important thing you must get right is that jtag-tool freeboot creation coincided exactly with the way you jtag your console eg: Wiring.

You don`t need to re-read your nand as the 1st dumps you got are good(you just recovered a bad flash from them) so use the 1st dump to create your freeboot image and make sure your smc is in the correct place in either jtag-tool or the bestpig apps

Depending on which tutorial you followed for the jtag you may or may not have this?? (smc) How are you wiring the jtag wire to the console and via what tut if any? Once I know this then we can move on

I did my wiring like this but im using a usb spi flasher.

http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/8875/overvieww.jpg

And i just thought of something, what kind of wire should i be using to connect the diodes to the motherboard? I used kynar wire for the jumper and on the diodes.

ok sorry ..your wiring is fine don`t touch it as it`s booting xellous fine smile.gif
You just need to make the image correct.

Just create the image in jtag tool and make sure you select all the correct options for the xeon board and you should be good.............REMEMBER your wiring is good so concentrate now on the correct way to make the freeboot.
