This is absolute blasphemy...
1. You don't to that to a Dev Kit, and
2. The way he just "tore" it apart? what a douche.

Cool video, but he could have achieved the same effect with a regular case and some ingenuity. I bet he just threw the Dev Kit parts away too... such a shame.

I have seen this video in the past and could never bring myself to show anyone... just for the simple fact that it makes me sick.

I was wondering myself why he went through all the trouble to destroy and rebuild that case when he could have just picked up a premade case for cheap. I want to know what recycling center he went to to find that Dev Kit. I've been looking for one for ages.

Xbox console supplied to game developers for programming /testing games, the have special hardware such as 128mb ram, scsi hdd connections and different bios and software- very rare.

Apple OSX running in a Microsoft xbox case is pretty hilarious laugh.gif

Wow, allot of skill there. Even the videography is great. Tearing apart a dev kit is a shame, especially when you paint it black. Hopefully it didn't work.

Allthough I hate how he ruined a great Dev kit,
I think we must all admit that he is an amazing craftsman.
His other videos are quite interesting, too.

Quite the craftsman but broken or not I cant help thinking could have done it with two normal boxes and cut and shut.

I made an Xbox double hight back in the day by stitching one case top with the sliced off bottom of another one. Fairly easy really gave me more hight to put in extra harddrives and a switch to enable switching between stock Microsoft and modded drive and experiment/test drive. Im not trying to ssay what he did was easy but it is very inspired though. No need for my double hight xbox now as they cant go on Live so all are just modding fodder.
