Here are some temps of me playing mortal kombat on my Zephyr. Definitely not stock cooling. Quiet as a whistle and fans at auto setting (lowest speed)

Edit: way too much clutter http://pastebin.com/kPuxAKdd
Click the link and see where I load up mortal kombat in the begining and where I quit toward the end.

Here is a small graph of the temps.

It's a watercooled setup. I have since upgraded the reservoir and pump setup for a swiftech mcp350 pump with a ek reservoir mounted. Which was given to me for free by a member of this board. I've also put the 360 in a pc case.

Here is a link of the setup. http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=719961

this tool has been very helpfull on my jasper with no dvd drive rear fan cut out running stock fans at 12v plus a extra large 12v fan on the gpu heatsink has a max temp cpu 45c gpu 42c

now ive also added a 2nd small fan on the extra small gpu heatsink pushing air down i thought this would also increase the airflow to the cpu infront but now my temps are max cpu 47c gpu 40c so ive taken a extra 2c from the gpu and added it to the cpu wink.gif

Excellent work mate, just used this to check out temps on an E74 console which decided to come back from the dead and was on an exploitable dash - woot woot!

Slightly off topic but for anyone that's interested, this console I have got working again runs 10 degrees C hotter in a Lian Li Xbox 360 case than it does in the original case with fans at 100% (12v) in FSD . So I bought this expensive case ages ago just to house my normal flashed consoles, as it claimed to have superior cooling and quietness and looked damn good! Well I've never actually had a jtag in it until now and it has just confirmed to me that the better cooling is all bull shit! No wonder I had a console 3RROD on me in it in the past.

Anyone wanna buy a case lol!? laugh.gif

Hi Oleg

Yes I am thinking of getting rid of it as I don't use it anymore. However just found a Jasper on possible exploitable dash, might be putting this inside it with a 1tb 3.5" SATA hdd and sell it on.

I take it you're only after the case mate?

Cheers
Mark

LOL! :-D

We need a new version of this plugin.

The plugin can't work togheter with the new FreestyleDash and it's plugin.
If we load the plugin in dashlaunch, FSD can't load FreestyleDash Plugin.

"TemperatureDump.xex has a Base Address that matches FreestyleDashPlugin. Because the author and source is unavailable- the solution, as khuong stated, is to not use it while using FSD."

Not sure if any one is really interested but I saw that this wasn't working anymore so I decided to try and create a unique fix.

My plan is to hook into the hud.xex and display a message box when the user selects the "Redeem Code" option. I already have a successful hook in place. Next is to just write up the code to display the temps. My plan is to maybe talk to c0z and see if he would be interested in adding this to DL, as it would take away the need for a separate xex to run this.

I could even add an option to the message box to save the temps to a log file. Not sure if I feel like writing to a file every 30 seconds.

CODE
XAM LoadImage: hud.xex | Type: 40000008 | Version: 20351f00 | Handle: 781c2028

LI Return: 00000000

Hooked into RedeemCode Action

If I ever get a chance to talk to c0z maybe we could work out some kind of ini settings. Something like enabling logging, tick interval etc...

CODE
tempMon = true/false // Turn it on/off globally
constantTempMon = true/false // Constant logging on/ff
tickInterval = 30000 // in ms
logPath = Hdd\tempLog.txt // save location
