I'm guessing this should be news? - as the subject line says, @TeamJungle just posted this...

"LT+ 1.91 completed testing, to be released with new JF - AP2.6 defeated, no need to reburn current AP2.5 titles"

Does this mean that soon we will be able to play AP2.5 games again?

Yes and never again burning these titles again, if my asumption is correct, the new firmware should either ignore or bypass the AP26 and therefor boot the disc regardless of the AP25 replay sector on backups, also, you should be able to boot any AP25/6 backup even if they didn't have the replay sector, or old AP25 data.

What I'm not too sure about is the fact that this could make live usage a risk... but you never know.

Cheers!!! I'm happy and can't wait to see the release pop.gif

I really much doubt c4eva would release his firmware to be unsafe on LIVE as he has always stuck to his guns and brought us safe LIVE firmwares for the current time

There has NEVER been a Live "safe" firmware. He does his best to make the "safest" but never "safe".

Hmm, I don't know about never. What if this update brought new AP2.6, which this CFW will defeat. However, if new AP2.5 challenges are added with an upcoming update, disks will need to be reburned. It's just this update didn't bring new AP2.5 challenges, so THIS TIME, no need to re-burn. This is just a guess.

Your assumption may be correct, but I think we both need to wait to hear more.
