But when I play ROMS on my xbox, how do I exit from it without booting and rebooting the xbox?

Try clicking the right thumbstick inward/down and that should pause the ROM and bring up a menu with settings and exit options

I don't think that emulator allows that besides its inferior compared to NestopiaX just use it instead
