Hi guys.

i've got a pair of X3 modded systems and PATA hard drives are getting very expensive. I wanted to switch to a pair of SATA drives, but from what i can tell, there has been no update to the X3 bios in many years.

I'm thinking that perhaps it's time i move away from the X3 and look in to alternatives.

I have a 128mb, 1.4ghz Trusty box. i want to put in at least a 1TB drive. I use XMugen, so the F drive needs to stay no larger than 127gb or whatever the "normal" max is. I know about the cluster format issues and such.

is there a better bios that i should be considering?

Xbox Version: v1.4
360 version: v4.0 (jasper)
Stick with the X3 bios. I think X3_3294 was the latest. Since you have an X3 chip you can have multiple bios's on that chip. You could boot from X2_5035 too. Any bios should work for Xmugen too as long as the hard drive is done right, which it sounds like you've got that on lock down.
