They banned me last night. Jasper Arcade flashed to 1.91. Nobody I know is banned so far. Time will tell if it's really a ban wave or not.

Before we cause another panic here, what kind of ban are we talking about? Console or account ban? There have been a lot of account bans lately, for those who are playing on Live with hacked profiles.

What exactly did the message say?

It was a console ban for me. My profile is fine.

I do Live support, and I can confirm many people are calling with ban issues.

To say it is irrelevant isn't totally true. If you are flagged for whatever reason and you check it before you go on live every time, you will know if you have been flagged before you connect and could possibly intervene before the ban.

it is irrelevant, it states in the notes its not a 100% correct if your flagged or not. which all in all it doesnt matter. if your console is flashed they will find you no matter. even if you have a flashed console and only got online to play arcade games and never popped a disk in they could still find you.

I think this ban wave has to do with people trading/selling/stealing other peoples gamertags. nothign to do with flashing firmwares.

but don't quote me on that.

Never did anything like that...The spring dashboard update installed OS firmware on the drive so i was without my games for the longest time. Than i finally upgraded to ixtreme 1.91 on the benq a little over a week ago. I played need for speed shift, shift 2, and just on wednesday night was Dead island....logged on this sunday and i was banned.

Probably because you installed the update and let it overwrite your modified firmware, rather than flashing back to stock firmware before updating the dashboard.

yeah its possible it took them a week or so to detect the ixtreme 1.91, because everything passed AGBX.
