Hi guys,
I recently bought a stack of fault Xbox 360s from someone for fairly cheap and I've been going through them one by one, None of them will give me an image on the screen when I plug in the cable and I get various light errors telling me somethings up the most common one being 3 red rings. On another two of the consoles when I plug them into a power source and press the button on the RF board it flashes green for a second before the power prick turns to red.
The main issue I have is that when I open up the majority of housings the drives have either been messed with, circuits within the drive are missing etc.
Opening up one of the housings someone had wrote 'JTAG?' on it butt he dvd drive was completely gone, I'm hoping to get it running again to see if it's fixable and doable. I was reading that you don't need your original drive to extract the dvd key from and I was wondering what you need and how you go about reading from the motherboard itself?
Any suggestions would be great. Thanks guys.
