360 version: v5.0 (360S - trinity)
I have an xbox original running 5960 that used to be modded but was accidentally unmodded. I am looking to re-hack it and am wondering what the best way to do that is based on the things I have available.

It was soft-modded originally using the pc hot swap method but right now I don't have a PC with IDE.

Is there a way to mod it without using the game save method? I don't have any of the 3 original games it requires.

I am looking to get Linux installed and running on it to act as a server. (I'd like to upgrade the HD at some point to a 160gb or 200gb drive that I have laying around)
