I know you can spoof dvd drives to replace other drives, but my question is can I spoof a Sammy as a 0800 liteon or benq to back up games?

Absolutely not. The limitation is in the drive itself, not the firmware.

There is 0800 firmware for Samsung drives, but they don't support XGD3 or AP2.5 ripping.
