iv got a us box that someone has put direct 240v into without using a stepdown and blown it, its a v1.1 box

is it oki if i just put a UK powersupply in? as its gonna be used in the uk anyway. iv done this before with the old ps1 and saturns but wanted to confrim before i go sticking things in TIA

Yes, it will work. Just remember that the v1.0 and v1.1 Xbox PSUs have a different motherboard plug than the v1.2 and v1.3. Try to get a PSU for the same version Xbox, or else you'll have to do some cutting and splicing/soldering with the wires.
