Okay i was watching a mkv video last night and all was working fine. Today i logged into the xbox and it said their was a update availible. so i went ahead with it, but since then all mkv files have stopped working. They either say buffering or they try to play but stop instantly (like a freeze but i can still use all the menus and things)

Im not sure if this is because of the update or anything else. Anyone got any advice or had similar problems?

Wait MKV files work on the Xbox? Cause from the day i got my Xbox, i couldn't watch them on my xbox's.

Yeh they do but you have to use the media center extender on the xbox and have a pc with windows 7 on it.

Its was working fine for ages. But since ive updated the xbox its stopped working.
=(

Its really frustrating as i have lots of videos in mkv and i dont want to have to go through everything and change the format to avi.

I'm having the same issue here. Played mkv fine before the most recent update. Any solutions yet?
