I was given an xbox where the stock HD was torn to pieces. I've been doing reading and see I need the eeprom to lock the HD. Is there a way to get the eeprom.bin without making a eeprom reader? Or is there a way to bypass or ignore the eeprom requirement or get the system to pull it out another way? I attempted to make a new hard drive, but then realized that the eeprom was required to lock it.

You either need an eeprom reader, or you have to fit a chip. There is no third way if you don't have the original working disk.
