i googled and couldnt find anything. its a legit game i bought it brand new last year. the error looks like a notification in the game. the only thing i can think of is either its a disc read problem and it cant load the maps properly or its a software issue with the 360 itself. when i get a chance ill take a screenshot of it.

When I was playing Black-Ops I encountered what seemed to be an in-game debugging message.
I was in the level where I was in the tank as the main guy's handler and I bombing everything in sight and a message came up saying something about too many bones. Then I got sent to the main menu and had to replay the entire level over including the part where I am playing as the main guy. It never did come up again.
It is possible to have a defective disc. You could alway contact Infinity Ward and see what they say if clearing the cache doesn't help.
