Xbox 360 BenQ DVD will not open when the metal cover is completely closed? My Xbox is no longer under warranty. When the metal part of my BenQ DVD drive is fully closed, will not eject. If I remove the top cover or pull the top cover slightly upward, the drive opens bien.Para clarify, I mean the metal part of the DVD drive itself, not all of the console box. ” Any suggestions?

I have found often the belt on the motor that drives the eject mechanism is slipping - clean the belt, clean the pulleys and if necessary roughen up the pulley on the motor.

you can also put the belt in a cup with some hot water to shrink it.
