Ok so i have a PS3 with 3.50 stock firmware. The problem i have is that the blu-ray drive is no longer the original drive. I need to know if there is anyway to get the drive i have to work so i can play games from the drive or am i screwed? And i guess the next thing would be would i even be able to put CFW on it since its not the correct drive. I read somewhere that you cant update.

should be able to, just update thru usb then update usb with cfw.
