Hello everyone....I've been observing a curious problem with some of my xboxes

Their ventilation grills start to acumulate rust, on both sides of the consoles

Does anyone have this same problem? Can I fix it? Is there anyway to prevent this?

Thank you guys!

I haven't noticed it getting any worse but I cant be sure. If it's bothering you though you could try sanding the effected parts of the grill and paint over it (with the mobo out of the case of course) smile.gif

Just cut those grills out and you'll be rid of the rust and have better air flow.

Its normal, just the cheap material MS used to manufacture them, either remove them or take the shielding out and rust proof and paint it.
