Is it possible (an easy...) to update the firmware of my existing external dvd drive in order to enable overburn?

I guess I need to load a new firmware to enable this. Is there a cool homepage or similar where I can find firmware for different dvd drives, as well as tuturials?

Thanks for help

Purchase a Liteon iHas and put Burner Max firmware on it. Very cheap. Done.

Can I buy any Lite-On Ihas? I saw a "Lite-On iHAS124 " at very low price.

2nd question, how do I put put Burner Max firmware on it? Is there a tutorial?

Thanks for you answer!!! jester.gif

Yes of course there's a tutorial, it's included in the Burner-Max download http://hotfile.com/dl/133005649/08f40be/iX...er_Max.rar.html
