this might make me sound like i've been livng in the stone age but i dont have a HDTV and all i have is a SDTV so i was wondering if i cud plug in a xbox 360 to my sdtv..?? uhh.gif

Yup or "Scart" if you are in Europe. The composite cable usually comes with a scart adapter in Europe. At least that what I got.

Remember to set it as SDResolution although it should auto detect it anyway I think.

Gameplay should be identical (aside from say, missing out on widescreen), graphics will take a noticeable hit.

you can also get a VGA cable for the 360 and get HD graphics on a PC monitor.

ive tried a vga cable in the past but never really taught the quailty of the pic was all it should have been

VGA hooked up to a HD monitor or TV is far better than SD. You may need to play with the settings on the console a bit to get the best picture.
