Hey,

some time ago I've bought some of these to make own pcb's, thought that i'll be easier on plcc;)
12 PLN/3$ - PLCC44 packed XC2C64a
3 PLN/1$ - PLCC44 socket

After examination i've realised that I'dont need to make PCB's, and that those huge pins will be more than enough. An onboard voltage regulator is not needed - 1.8v can be taken from consoles 1.8v standby, it can be even more stable than in CMOD. The only drawback is an additional cable to 1.8v standby, and grouping of few pins but i think its not so great deal (just use fine kynar wire for grouping), when looking at the 4$ price;)

So here it is - a concept of 4$ Slim PLCC glitch mod;) (Tommorow i'll post pictures of ready working chip and wiring to mobo)
