Now when most developers make a game they start from pretty much scratch. Or they license some sort of engine like the unreal engine or valves source. But would it not be less expensive to take a game like Far Cry 2...Or Banjo Kazooie nuts and bolts, or even Assassins Creed...then build off of that?
Like you would license Far Cry 2 ...then just ADD in things that would have made the game better. Perhaps make it more RPGish and so on.
Do you think that this method would save both time AND money?
opps. And so the typos of Ntsouls did, infact, lead to the deathes and mix-ups of numerous patients. Including the penoplasty for old Mrs. Butterworth. Who now comes in true to form bottles.

If talking about Source - when you download it's development kit on steam you get EVERYTHING that was used to make Half-Life 2 - that includes props, models, sounds, maps - everything, so you can easily expand on that. Mod it.
