Yes you can but if you try to play with controller online you get owned the mouse can keyboard are way to fast. Its best to play the campaign with keyboard and mouse so learn it before playing online.

I was just thinking of playing it on my laptop , not online.
so, a regular wired controller for xbox 360 will work, doesn't need any modifications to get it to work with the pc,right?

When you're playing the pc version , is it only against guys that are also on the pc version? You can't play against guys on xbox live, can you?

I've never played online , so I don't know how it is. Never thought about the difference between the keyboard/ mouse vs xbox controller. I haven't really used my xbox lately , since I've been traveling. I was just thinking of getting back into the game , but on my laptop instead , and I'm used to using the xbox controller so I figured I'd see if I could use it on my laptop.
