hey guys i have a liteon dg-16d2s drive flashed with lt 3.0, I know this has been answered a million times I read all about it and i know how to use google so just give me a straight answer because i thought about it and it just doesnt make sense to me but. I know that truncating is supported in the lt 3.0 liteon and I know that only the ihas drive can burn true backups fully, but lets say I want to truncate gears of war 3 patched for 3.0 correctly in theory shouldnt it work on live without risk since microsoft wasnt even using the extra disc space at the release of the title? since they weren't using the extra space for more checks and what not or am I missing something?

thanks in advance and im new so take it easy on me

i believe truncating only works with lt2.0 and down, not 3.0.

and as for being live safe, i don't think it's safe at all.
