Hey,
I just purchased a RGH Slim. The HDMI Port was working fine, until it booted up one day and I noticed my tv said no signal. I have an old component cable which works, and displays at 1080p, as well as a vga cable that works. Ive tried multiple Hdmi cables and different ports on the tv. After trying to get that to work on my tv, I noticed none of the Hdmi inputs were working with my 2 PCS, as well as my tablet. Confused, I decided to just buy a new tv. Now, everything works on my new TV, except the RGH Slim. Is it possible to fry the Hdmi port on an xbox from a tv?

If anyone has a suggestion that would be appreciated.

I know there was a problem on a Phat Xbox, the problem was a cold joint under the HANA chip

personally, i would start by inspecting the modders work. just cuz they charge to rgh does not make them a pro.

yes it is possible i have damaged two xbox phat JTAGs HDMI ports with a bad HDMI cable

both worked perfectly until i plugged the bad cable into them and then the HDMI port wouldnt send a picture, component cables on old AV port work perfectly.

replaced the cable and a new xbox worked fine on the TV, the cable was the culprit.

u say it is wired fine, care to back it up with a pic? diagnosing hardmods w/o a picture of the work is like asking a doctor what this rash is w/o showing it to him.
