I have done PS12, PS2, Dreamcast, PSP, Wii, and XBOX original but never touched my xbox 360's.

I have Slim Models one the 4gb matt and one the Glossy with Chrome trim.

I would like to mod one, I've never touched the 360 modding my question is

Can you still do updates with the MODed system??

I'd like to be able to run games off of the HDD, put a bunch on it and be able to play them like I was able to
in my Origninal XBOX

From what I read looks like i'd want

Xecutor CoolRunner
Coolrunner QSB addin for Slim
Xecutor NAND-X
Xillinx JTAG cable (

or is there a more current mod alternative???

Is there a dependable company that will do the Mod for me??
I had a medical issue that's kept me away from doing hands on modding
that's why the wii was the last thing i modded. I'd like to get a 360 system modded
but can no longer solder so i'd need to find someone dependable to do the work.

My main concern is game updates will we still be able to get them with a modded system??

or is there a way to clone or copy an original HD from a good non modded system and put in on
a modded one??? take the updated game etc....and be able to play it on the modded system??

any and all help is appreciated.

thanks

Tx coolrunner nandx slim qsb and the nanx to coolrunner jtag cable.
That is what I used.

getting the game updates (TU's) is very easy and automatic through FSD (FreeStyle Dash - the homebrew dashboard RGH consoles are running). Updating the xbox dashboard however is a different story and you should never go LIVE with a RGH console.
Its not hard to update, but just make sure whoever does the mod for you provides you with your original nanddump.bin file and your cpukey so you can do the upgrades yourself later via usb stick.
