I've had this problem for years. I have this cable - With this cable, the image is ghosting in 720p and 1080i, but not in 480p. The ghosting is highly noticable. In 720p, almost 50% of the image is ghosted and about 20% of the image is ghosted in 1080i, UNLESS i plug in the S-Video cable in. While having the S-Video cable plugged, the ghosting is reduced alot in 720p, but it's still noticable (very very noticable) and in 1080i it's almost gone (it's hard to see it from distance). I havn't thought of getting the original component box by Microsoft, cause i think this cable should work properly. There's also lines scrolling the screen (not very noticable). And when i have the S-Video cable plugged in and the Xbox changes from ANY resolution to 720p, i get no signal, and have to detach the S-Video cable and plug it back in. Has anybody else had these issues?
