So i was wondering with the tx pcbs can the firmware be flashed to it as just the pcb without being attached to the drive or does it need to be attached?

Also i used the usb to sata trick with my maximus 360 xtractor to grab the key from my 0401 and just wondering if anyone knows the quality of the rips, like what i mean is the key was verified and i ripped the key twice i also have logs if anyone is interested.

Thanks in advance

You can flash the PCB without connecting it to the drive. If you get the same dump twice, you should be fine. I have never had an issue with a slim using a similar setup.
