Hey there,

I want to connect my Kinect to my older Xenon 360.

I found the following power adapter for it: link

Does anyone know if this is bad for my 360?
As in will the added power draw from the 360 itself cause my XBOX to burn up faster, more likely for RROD, or anything like that?

If so, I'll just get an adapter that plugs into an outlet.

this adaptor pulls the current from the PSU not the console so shouldnt affect the console

but you have a shitty Xenon anyways, it will die a horrible death like all other Xenons irregardlesss of what you plug into it

I'd personally just get the external power adaptor instead.

That's what my retail Kinect came with, and it works fine on my Falcon. True it now takes up an extra plug socket... but I'd rather the sensor have it's own power.
