hi guys,

my m8 dropped his slim up to me to have a look at as he said it was giving him the open tray error.so i stuck in a new lense (anti static blob removed)and still get the same error.i think that he may of tried to fix the drive himself before hand by adjusting the screws on the drive rails and set it way of alignment.i adjusted the screws slighty and can get it to see a dvd in the tray but when i press play black screen.i have noticed that this only happens when i move the lense to the center of the drive.when i do this after i open the drive lense seems to be at the back of the drive,and if i move it to the front the lense wont move.
