hello I was wondering if there was a guide for howto compile libpng freetype zlib or sdl (mainly sdl) as static libraries using my (legally purchased) xdk using vs 2010 or 2008 (legally purchased as well)
I wouldnt normally be asking for help but I really hate this visual studio for one there are too many buttons and options sad.gif might sound strange but im more of a *nix guy, I'm just having a hard time with figuring out how to include these libraries in my project which seems to work fine on other consoles using other sdks. If anyone is available to lend just a little help on irc or even with just a link to somewhere on here I would be very grateful smile.gif

in a nutshell, mugen on the 360
ive almost got what i needed compiled- so far have a couple libs built sdl, zlib, and i believe freetype was in sdl as well and libpng (tho im not sure libpng is 100%) but im missing something and i think its xdk/vs related but im not sure I have no experience with the xdk or vs but what i have so far almost compiles any help on irc (#tortuga-cove on efnet) or on here would be appreciated very much I will not take up all of your time or annoy you with endless messages (i know how that is)

I think ive about got it figured out down to dealing with errors from xnamath.h and d3d9.h im not sure if these are even needed :/
