I smashed the capacitor at point C3E7 on a slim 360 I have here and was wondering what value it is and where to get one to replace it. I have a dead falcon board and also a dead Xenon board I could take parts from but I have no clue as to which cap to use.

Right I'm trying to ressurect the slim I borrowed the cap from to fix the Slim I originally broke.

So this is the info I need to know if someone can help.

1) The value of Cap C3E7 on a Slim, its in between the CPU and Southbridge.

2) I pulled off pad FT1T4 on the underside of the board, whilst removing a matrix trident chip. Is this pad needed to boot? If so where can I solder a wire between to fix this broken pad?

3) On the same xbox I pulled FT5R3, FT5R6, FT5R7 and FT5R8 POST pads, all are totally gone, am I right in thinking these are not needed to boot the xbox?

Thanks for your help.

I'm guessing C3E7 is in the .1uf range? anyone with an ESR meter care to measure it for me?

Decided to just try it as its broken anyway so who cares lol. Tried .1uf and am getting error 0022.
Also tried .1uf in another slim and it booted up fine. So I'm thinking that .1uf may be ok?

So leaving this cap out of the equation how do I go about repairing the FT1T4 pad?
(I/O2 ? pin 31 on TSOP?)

I'm also assuming the POST pads are not that important?

Any one have any ideas at all?

Right finally got this slim working, ended up RGH ing it too. Kamikaze'd the drive as well lol.

C3E7 is indeed 0.1 UF, I measured one and got a reading of 0.085uf on my ESR meter so +/- a bit for error etc I say 0.1 uf will be fine.

Turned out I had somehow updated the LDV value and was getting error 0022. So when I flashed back the original firmware it didnt have the correct LDV. I had though due to all the damage I had killed the box. But once I sorted the LDV out, the xbox booted fine, even with all the torn POST points and the point FT1T4 under the nand.
