Just wondering if there is easier ways to mod these consoles now compaired to the 2 methods of drilling out the chip to get the drive key ?

Getting the drive key is easy. The drilling or soldering a hole into the IC chip is only needed to flash the drive. You can also get a replacement PCB if that is not something you want to do.
