Greetings!

I'm a complete newbie and I have a few questions. I've read through some of the FAQs and am slightly wary due to their post dates and dead links.

So I believe I have the Liteon DG-16D2S and my kernal is 2.0.12625.0 (dunno if this matters -> bk 2.0.1888.0). My question is, can I RGH? Is it worth it? If not what's the most practical approach to flashing my DVD drive? What all do I have to buy?

My main goal is to play backed up games but I would also like to run emulators. I'd like to keep what ever I have to buy to a minimum and I'm good with taking electronics apart and can possibly solder. Advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the help.. smile.gif

If you want to play emulators then RGH is your only choice.

The only time a flash is better than RGH is if you want to play on xbox live. If your not going on Live then RGH is best option as if gives you so much scope of things to do with it.
