Burn it to DVD-R, and make sure you include a 100MB dummy file (the Xbox doesn't like discs with small single files.)

Alternatively, use HeXEn burned to DVD-R. Option 1 is Enigmah.

No. PCs can't read Xbox discs.

Did you burn the DVD-R at 4x or slower?

What are you making the iso with? What are you burning it with?

Sorry - just thought. Why don't you just FTP it to your Xbox?

Burnt it with UltraISO and with Windows 7 image burner.

I think im burning at 20x..Ive no idea what the actual drive is stable to.

I havent FTP'd because im a tard, but ill try that now.

You think a slower speed would be better?

Thanks love.gif

It's not that I think a slower speed would be better - it's a fact. 4x or slower, or it probably won't work......

Burnt at 3x. Put disc in drive, turned box off, turned box on, still, your xbox cant recognize this disc.

Has your Xbox ever recognised burned discs?

Just to confirm, you are making the iso with Qwix, and it contains Enigmah and a 100MB blank file?

And you are using DVD-R?

I havent tried another burnt DVDR.

Ive just tried FTPing and failing epicly.

I didnt do Hexen with Qwix. Tbh, Enigmah was just to get it working on my NTSC display, your Hexen disc will do everything I plan to do though.

Thanks guys..

Ah, understood. If you're using HeXEn then you just need to burn the iso.

Try using DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0, and make sure you burn in image mode.

You really should try to get FTPing sorted, it is the easiest way of getting stuff from PC to Xbox and visa-versa.

As long as you're using a cross-over cable for direct connection or a standard cable via a router there's not usually much to go wrong. Just a few setting on your PC and Xbox to change maybe and Bob's your uncle. smile.gif Only thing you'll find is that most of the recommended FTP Clients (like the twitchy FileZilla) have a GUI about as newbie unfriendly as can be thought up by human mind.
