My friends 360 got the infamous open tray error awhile back. We fixed it by tweaking the POT screws ever so slightly. Now his 360 reads GTA4 and it reads LA Norie fine, but he just bought the Witcher 2 and it refuses to go past the "WB Games" screen. I tried the pot tweak again with no luck. I tested the game on my rgh slim trinity w/o a flashed dvd drive, and it plays fine which rules out a possibility of the disc being bad(which I pretty much assumed it wasn't from the start). Any ideas what it could be?

The laser could be bad. You should be able to get one off ebay for about $10.

I had considered the laser but my thinking is it plays other games, so if it was the laser wouldnt all games stop working?
