Hello,

Just changed the laser on a lite-on 0225 drive xbox slim. Original firmware never flashed.

Still getting unreadable disk before the game start. When the drive pass a certain point, I'm good to go. But I have to eject disk many times before. I have more problems with Call of duty black ops. The disk never pass the working point. Why?

So, a brand new laser, same results. I'm out of idea.

What can I do? There's another solution for this problem?

Thanks for your replys smile.gif

Less problems with other games. But Black ops, it's a pain.

I tryed the pot tweek before with the other laser and did'nt get any results... And it's not the disk, it working in my other phat xbox.

Thanks

Think if I had a damaged cable, no one will work. All cables are in place and connected.

Did you remove the antistatic solder point on the new laser? You need to do that if you didnt.

Is it making any grinding noises or weird noises. It could be the spindle motor or the worm motor that moves the laser.
