I'm using SNES9XBox v6 and regardless of settings it's kinda choppy playing Starfox, are there any other emulators other than this one that might play it decently?

Set the core in the game to 1.42. You can set this in the game configuration screen (press X when selecting a game). It is the first option.

If that is not fast enough for you then use zsnesxbox.
