As the title says I flashed a hitachi 46 drive with LT 2.0 but all my XDG3 backups say play game with no picture and when I try to play them I get a black screen then back to dash. Its on the latest dash 15574 if that makes a difference and everything in jungleflasher went as planned. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

is the drive original to the 360? use the power plug hole in the 360 to determine your mother board revision and tell us what it is, it might shed some light on this.

Well, I have been reading a lot and It seems I might have a falcon board. I am using a 175w power supply and that can only be a falcon (apparently!!!). It also seems when its a refurb unit falcons can have HDMI. Im not sure about any of this info so I am posting pics to see if anyone can have a look and give me any advice. I am posting a link here and it appears there were no hitachi 46 drives used on falcon boards. This is what I know for a FACT... 1 - My power connector has no middle pin, 2 - It has a HDMI socket, 3 - It has a small GPU heatsink and 4 - I dont think that is the original drive. Take a look at the pics and let me know if anyone can shed some light on this very dark situation ohmy.gif . As far as I can tell its a complete frankenbuild.

try putting a benq or liteon in it and i bet your problems go away. btw, it looks like they broke the center tab out of your power plug.

Thanks for the replies shaggy. I dont have a spare drive handy, but I am getting a few boxes in the next couple of days. If the centre tab is broken and its working fine on a 175w PSU will it damage the unit in any way or would I be better getiing a 203w just to be sure?

Just got hold of a spare benq, flashed the key to it and....... E74. Does that mean its the right drive wrong key or is there still hope if I try a lite-on flashed with the same key? I am starting to think the key I got was the original hitachi key and its on the new dash so no RGH either. Looks like I might have to chalk this one up to experience. Any help or opinions would be great right now??? huh.gif

dont spoof the benq, just copy and paste the key to benq lt 3.0. that *should* solve your problem.
