Ok can you please help me out on following situation.

My orginal dvd drive was 0255 (locked ofcourse) and updated back then my dash to 13599 with this drive. then changed my drive to unlocked 9504 and flashed LT 2.0 0255 (spoofed) last year and didnt SPI lock it.

everything works great Now but i want to upgrade to newest dash and LT 3.0.

What is the correct way of doing this without of needing any soldering, drilling etc. Or is it even possible ?

Last note i dont care about Live etc.

Stick the original locked 0225 in your system, update dashboard. Flash your unlocked drive with 3.0, install and play.

What if i flash my drive to LT 3.0 and lock it with current firmware should everything work and after that update my console trough usb update to 2.0.16154.0 will i be facing problems.

If you don't care about live then I would say update to 3.0 and lock the drive and then do the dashboard update.

Thanks for your help!

I took "risk" and updated dasth to latest and after that updated my LT to 3.0

as far i understand only dash that locks drive is 2.0.3599 that i was runnings allready (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_360_system_software)

all 0225 were factory locked anyhow regardless of dash.
only 0272 were locked with the 13599 update
9504 were changed to 0272 with 12146 iirc
