with the release of halo 4 coming up i decided i started looking for some ideas to try on my new slim...after watching the trailer a few times a certain scene stuck out where the promethean knight flips open his mask/helmet/head, the orange skulls pops out and screams, i started with the basic halo 4 logo on the front above the fan, and im doing the promethean knight on the backside. im going to have the mask open in the center and be on hinges to expose the orange skull...i still have to cut out the head of the knight and do all the mods to it

im using 2 hinges glued together so it opens half way then tilts open

i finished up the main part of this mod, i just ordered some leds from china so i got about a month to wait so i put it together til then...im pretty happy with the way it turned out, although i wish the head part turned out a bit better but its the best i could do

I really like the logo. Not so much the Promethean Knight. Just my opinion.

Ya I'm thinking of buying a new case just to replace the back half... the more I see it the more I realize I don't like it

I think the mask was a great idea but you got too much gap. Would have looked better on a old model Xbox, flat surface. Halo 4 logo was very nicely done.

Really - A great job on the Halo 4 logo.

Its smart and looks really good.

.... maybe you should have just gone with paint or decal on the bottom side. Remember, less is always more.

I agree with you on that... I wanted to try something new other then just a plain logo but started to regret it as soon as I started cutting... I'm ordering a new case this week to replace the back, then ill have a extra front to mess around with

i went and ordered a new case so i could replace the mask part with a regular stock one, i like it alot more with the just halo 4 logo...also bought some smds and leds
