I think I posted this in the right section. Right now I have my 360 console took apart for modding. Once I go to reinstall the mobo is there any special pattern to put the screws in or anything special I need to know?? the main reason I ask is I have heard about the board flexing and can be a contributor the the RROD.

Any help is appreciated.

The mobo should lay flat in the steel cage and not want to spring up on any corners.

If it does spring up then it is most likely the cage pushing against the x-clamps around the holes for the small black screws. Tap the cage out in those areas so as to make room. Install all the screws except the small black heatsink screws. They defeat the x-clamp balance and should be thrown away.
