Yeh, so The Daddy enjoys posting in our forums for some odd reason, I'm feeling the need to post here, i dunno, maybe i'll be cool and usurp <-- big word users, i dunno so xlink works by
"That the people who are making this program stole some code from Xbox Live, and once they launch it will get busted by MS rather quickly."
er.. no.. the application uses no xbox live code whatsoever.. it tunnels system link games.. and it still needs a PC to be switched on running an invisible daemon..
and yes, you could run the code on an unmodified box.. using one of a number of well documented exploits available - although it's up to you whether or not you do this...
although the app has a long way to go yet, keyboard support and support for the communicator are already in..
(we're working on a PC-less version - but that involves kernel stuff - which we're still learning about)..
it would be a shame if the xbc crew dont come on board with this stuff.. we would be happy to work with them, as we believe that xbox clients are the future of syslink tunelling..
And that's about it, any questions sure I'll be glad to post here and reply
