That hard drive is fine. You should check your Sunday flyers for BestBuy and CompUSA. I know that last week they had that same drive for $79.99 (after rebates). NewEgg is great for most things but hard drives go on sale so frequently that you are better off shopping around your local electronics stores. Waiting a couple of weeks can save you a lot of money.

Yeah. That's the one I got. You won't find it anywhere cheaper than $80. Not for a while anyway.

I got a Maxtor 120 GB 7200 rpm at compusa for $80 after rebate...still on sale through tomorrow if you want to go grab it, I have it installed in my box and it is lockable and working just fine.

You guys are lucky in the States, just paid £85 (136 USD) and that is the best price I could find in the UK.

I bought that Maxtor 120GB 7200RPM w/ 8mb cache...came out to 59.99 after two rebates...sickness

we had the 120gig maxtors going here for abut 120$ canadian for a few weeks.. most computer stores had it for that.. just jumped up to 150$ again though..

I recommend the 120Gb 8Mb cache 7200 Maxtor, i have had one running for 2 months now and im impressed
