Just got my e-mail today about being a new beta tester...

BTW: Whacked and MotoGP both work with the mod chips and also will run from the hard drive.

though the thought always lingers in the back of the mind that this "beta test" period is really designed just to make sure that there are a slewfull of people already online for its release....

but that comes from the same voices that tell me to do bad things!

REALLY. M$ Hates me to. I think they picked people that had the most systems becuase they said they were only gonna give the Beta Kit to the Hardcore Gamers, I Better Get A Email To.

I just like how that in the email it specifically states that you WILL receive your kit BEFORE the 14th of october if you were in the last group

I ordered it right away, selected standard shipping, and it won't be here until the 16th..

Maybe I should complain and see if I can get 2 free days once Live is launched?

i got my email. i have a question or two. does the memory card still come with it? and will there ever be a "homebrew" program that lets us change our gamertags?

its just that the new email doesnt say anything about a memory card or a t-shirt. thats why im wondering. i guess i'll find out when i get it on thursday.

. Got my Kit today...still need to set it up on the xbox...but I did not get a t-shirt nor an orange memory card...just lettin ya all know...

Did you guys get the CASE and the disk with MOTOGP on it?

If you didn't get the latter you may still get the TSHIRT and disks.

Dunno about the memory card though. It was nice that it had a keychain hook which I though was a great idea.
